 Radon is a significant contaminant that affects indoor air quality a deadly threat to Breathable-Air.  Radon
 is a hard to detect radioactive, colorless, tasteless, naturally occurring gas that is formed from natural
 decay of uranium.  It's threat is it's radioactivity this increases the risk of radiation induced cancer.

 Radon is emitted by the ground & springs. Being a heavy gas, it lingers in confined
 spaces, basements, caves, cellars, ground-level, mines...  Radon enters the body
 through inhaling via the lung it may enter the blood & be distributed throughout the
 body.  Radon is the 2nd largest cause of lung-cancer.  Blood, Bone & Brain-cancers
 are possible...

 Radon radioactivity attaches itself to smoke & other airborne particles (dust, pollen...) this synergy
 increases its threat.  Radon radioactivity combined with other airborne health-risks becomes a major
 health-risk to humans & other breathing creatures.

 The greatest threat is to uranium & other hard-rock miners.  Another group that is exposed are people who
 live on uranium dumps & nuclear test-sites (e.g. Aborigines...).

 In brick-homes built on a concrete-slab were all doors & windows are kept closed Radon
 radioactivity often increases.  Smoke-detectors giving off radioactivity combine with Radon
 radioactivity to increase the health-risk.

 Radon is measured in 'Becquerel's' per cubic meter (Bq/m³).  Universe Custodian Guardians
 recommend an Becquerel of ≈100 Bq/m³ indoors.  Anything higher is a threat.

 Radon test kits are commercially available.  The short-term radon test kits used for screening purposes are
 inexpensive, in many cases free. The kit includes a collector that the user hangs in the lowest livable floor
 of the house for 2 to 7 days.  The user then sends the collector to a laboratory for analysis.

 Radon the Threat !

 The threat posed by Radon is largely
 ignored. The suffering & misery caused
 to humankind & animals is unacceptable

 tackle this threat.

 Breathing is all about gas exchange:
 Oxygen, Carbon-dioxide, Nitrogen &
 Water-vapor.
